I find Kaplan Praxis Prep 2017-2018 a good book for review. I’ve taken the Praxis 3 times and failed. 1st time I didn’t work as hard. 2nd time I used Sam’s Praxis Book, Kaplan and ETS version. Kaplan’s online version Math test is a bit more difficult. The ETS version helped for the 2nd test. But of course some things that I’ve notice aren’t anywhere to be found in most Study books. I got 148/150 on the 2nd test. I came up 28 points from my 1st test. 3rd time I failed. This test was extremely hard. Some problems on the test I’ve never seen before. Ex: the little number before the square root. My 3rd test I felt had a lot more geometry word problems, finding degree angles and expression variable equations.

I decided to take a different approach with study materials. I find the best study materials that has lots of repetition and every area that you need to know. Called Spectrum: for Math, Geometry, and Word problems (3 separate books). Also, Core Skills Math for 8th grade. I bought books 6-8th grade Math. These review books have lots of repetition and different kind of problems. Basically everything you need to know for Praxis core. I have so many different Math books and these books for Middle schoolers seems to be the best. Others are great too for testing skills!!
