How does your LSAT score compare?

Whittier’s low LSAT numbers suggest that the applicant pool is relatively weaker in comparison to applicant pools at many other law schools in the country. You can use this point to your advantage – assemble a strong LSAT score with a strong undergraduate GPA, and you could be looking at either a full- or partial-tuition scholarship. About two-thirds of incoming Whittier students receive merit scholarships based primarily on LSAT and GPA, so it’ll definitely be worthwhile to focus on your test score and academics. (Note that Whittier’s median GPA is 2.85. The 25th percentile for GPA is 2.59, and the 75th percentile is 3.24.)

154 and above: A score in this range will put you at the cream of the crop in Whittier’s applicant pool, well above the school’s 75th percentile. As long as there are no major concerns with other parts of your application, you’ll have a great chance of getting in and perhaps receiving a full scholarship.

153-150: With a score in the low 150s, you’ll be a competitive candidate. Your score will be at or above Whittier’s 75th percentile. Set your sights on either a full or partial scholarship!

149-148: A score in the high 140s will put you at or just above Whittier’s LSAT median. You’ll still have a strong shot at admission.
147-146: A score in this range will start to really decrease your chances of application success. Even though Whittier’s LSAT range is not very competitive, your score will still put you at the bottom of its student pool.
