What the TOEFL Test Center Looks Like

Taking a standardized test is a stressful experience, and it’s even more stressful if you don’t know what to expect when you walk into the testing center. For example, did you know that you’ll have your photo taken before you take your TOEFL? What about your personal belongings — what do you do with those when you’re in the exam room? These are things you should definitely know about before walking into the test center — you don’t want any surprises!

Every testing center is a bit different, but the testing procedure will be similar for everyone. Instead of telling you about this procedure, I want you to watch this video from ETS. It covers your TOEFL test day experience, from arriving at the center to taking the exam and receiving your scores. Please watch it — you’ll thank yourself later! After, you can find even more test day tips here.
