While the United States definitely has the most law schools in the world, believe it or not, there are still some pretty good ones in other countries. The attraction of going to a foreign law school is pretty big. Students get to experience another country, and everything that goes with that.

At Oxford, the school of law was added in 1853. However, this school is another iconic university with a very rich history. Going to law school outside the United States, if you plan on practicing inside the United States, has its limits. Getting licensed in the U.S. will be difficult, if not impossible, in most cases. However, if you plan on practicing law elsewhere, you might want to seriously consider going to school outside the U.S. Just keep in mind that just about every law school in the United States has some kind of relationship with schools in foreign countries that allow students to study abroad.
