Muchos fil\u00f3sofos y gu\u00edas motivacionales hablan sobre la importancia de vivir en el presente. Muchas personas estar\u00edan de acuerdo con ellos. Sin embargo, cuando dicen esto, no puedo evitar pensar \u201c\u00bfcu\u00e1l de los presentes?\u201d. Como muchos profesores y estudiantes de ingl\u00e9s saben, existen varias maneras de describir el presente.
\n 
\nEn ingl\u00e9s, hay cuatro tiempos verbales presentes: simple present, present perfect, present continuous<\/em> y present perfect continuous<\/em>. Estos cuatro tiempos verbales tienen un total de 10 usos distintos. En esta entrada, echaremos un vistazo a la forma y a los usos de cada uno.<\/p>\n

Simple Present<\/em> (presente simple)<\/h2>\n

Forma:<\/strong> usa la forma base del verbo y agr\u00e9gale una \u2018s\u2019 al final si el sujeto es singular (a menos que el verbo sea irregular, en cuyo caso puede haber otras reglas<\/a>.)<\/span>

\nUso 3: estilo narrativo (el cual se usa al recordar eventos pasados o comentar acontecimientos que est\u00e1n ocurriendo en ese mismo momento)<\/em><\/span>

\nEJEMPLOS<\/u>: So I go<\/strong> to the store yesterday, and the clerk says<\/strong> \u201cWe\u2019re closed!\u201d He hits<\/strong> the baseball out of the field and makes<\/strong> a home run!<\/span>

\nUso 4: el presente \u201creal\u201d (sucesos que est\u00e1n ocurriendo ahora mismo), pero SOLO cuando el verbo es de estado. Los verbos de estado<\/strong>* se refieren a la forma de ser del sujeto, no a las acciones que este realiza.<\/em><\/span>
