In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ets.org\/toefl\/rpdt.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ETS has announced plans<\/a> to completely replace the replace the PBT with the iBT\u2026 <em>eventually<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I emphasize the word \u201ceventually,\u201d because for now the PBT is available in a surprisingly long list of places around the world. If you use ETS\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ets.org\/bin\/getprogram.cgi?test=toefl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TOEFL testing site locator<\/a>, you can see where the PBT is and isn\u2019t available. Or you can just let me summarize what\u2019s in the test locator for you! Below is a summary of the fascinating information I found when I checked every TOEFL region for PBT availability.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>TOEFL countries and regions that offer TOEFL PBT only:<\/h2>\n<p><em>The areas listed below do not have the TOEFL iBT. You can ONLY take the PBT in these nations, territories, and regions. This may not be a fully comprehensive list, since the TOEFL iBT test center search engine is designed to search by city and town, not country.
