La primera tarea TOEFL de speaking<\/em> independiente<\/a> te pide describir una experiencia personal. Por otro lado, la segunda te pedir\u00e1 que opines sobre un t\u00f3pico. Normalmente presenta los dos puntos de vista opuestos y necesitas elegir el que consideres mejor justificado y explicar la raz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Como en las otras tareas, tendr\u00e1s 15 segundos para pensar y 45 segundos para hablar. En general, la estructura de tu respuesta deber\u00eda ser similar a la de la primera tarea de speaking<\/em>: da tu opini\u00f3n en forma breve, con dos razones del porqu\u00e9 piensas de esa manera, y despu\u00e9s da alg\u00fan tipo de conclusi\u00f3n. Si as\u00ed lo deseas, tu conclusi\u00f3n puede reconocer alg\u00fan otro aspecto del problema, como una opini\u00f3n contrastante. Esa es una buena manera de usar el tiempo restante si terminaste de dar ejemplos y a\u00fan quedan 10 o 15 segundos. Si haces esto, aseg\u00farate de que te quede tiempo para regresar a la pregunta original y dejar en claro tu preferencia (y da una explicaci\u00f3n breve).<\/p>\n

Ejemplo de Respuesta: Explicaci\u00f3n:<\/h2>\n

\u201cPersonally, I prefer to bring my own food to my job or to school. If I buy food while I\u2019m out of the house, I often buy something that is unhealthy. For example, I might buy candy bars from the vending machine, because I feel too busy to go to the cafeteria or a restaurant. But even cafeteria and restaurant food is sometimes not-so-healthy. I can only control how healthy my food is if I bring it myself.<\/p>\n

Also, I like to have as much time as possible to relax and to eat when I have a break from school or my job. I don\u2019t want to take extra time to find food and wait in line to buy it. That time\u2019s better spent enjoying the food I brought from home, and chatting with colleagues.<\/p>\n

Although buying food at work or school seems convenient, it has higher cost. And I don\u2019t just mean money. Getting food at school or work also takes up precious break time too. And it can be bad for your health.. Bringing food from home really is better.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Explicaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n

Es muy bueno usar este formato general durante el examen: \u201cI prefer\/believe that\u2026\u201d<\/em>, y despu\u00e9s algunos ejemplos, con un \u201calthough statement\u201d<\/em>, seguido por una declaraci\u00f3n que concluya. Recuerda que cualquier respuesta bien desarrollada ser\u00e1 correcta mientras que una mal desarrollada ser\u00e1 incorrecta. No perder\u00e1s puntos por elegir una opini\u00f3n con la que los evaluadores no est\u00e9n de acuerdo.<\/p>\n
