If you\u2019ve ever wanted to go to school in New Orleans, then Tulane Law School<\/a> may be the place for you. Founded in 1847, Tulane has it\u2019s fair share of notable alumni. You may have heard of Edward White, chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court back in 1868.<\/p>\n

Tulane Law School is known for its maritime law, environmental law, and sports law programs. In case you were wondering, Tulane\u2019s maritime law program is one of the best in the world<\/a>. Their general ranking in the U.S. is at number 50, according to US News<\/a>.
\n <\/p>\n

Tulane Law School LSAT score summary<\/h2>\n

Tulane\u2019s median LSAT score for 2015 was 155. The 75th percentile was 159, and their 25th percentile was 151<\/strong>. As law school applications have gone down, so have LSAT scores from prospective applicants. Since Fall of 2010, LSAT scores have come down from 164\/162\/160, and enrolled students have come down from 258 to 190<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s good news for a lot of students out there, as this trend is occurring at every law school in the country, except for maybe Yale or Harvard.
\n <\/p>\n

Where does your LSAT fit in?<\/h2>\n

As with just about every other law school out there, Tulane Law School puts the most emphasis on LSAT scores. Undergraduate GPA is next on their list. If you can get over a 159 on the LSAT, you\u2019ll be sitting pretty, assuming you have a competitive GPA.<\/p>\n

However, the lower your LSAT scores, the higher your GPA will need to be, and the more powerful your personal statement and work experience must appear.<\/p>\n

If you score in the 152 to 158 range, you will merit serious consideration. You need to make your application stand out, though, to get in.<\/p>\n

To do that, you\u2019ll need to have a good GPA, and you\u2019ll also want to tell them a story in your personal statement. You need to let the law school know who you are–let your personality shine through, and show you\u2019ve come a long way, and that you know how to handle tough times.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s face it, law school is going to be one of the most trying times in your life. Your law school has a serious interest in you sticking around and paying tuition for three years. You\u2019ll want to show them they can count on you.<\/p>\n
