The June 2022 LSAT is actually a remote LSAT! That’s right: the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC), the test-maker, has recently announced that they’ll be continuing the at-home, online LSAT for at least the next year. So what do you need to know about the June LSAT? Here are key details about registration, the remote experience, and prep!

COVID-19 and the Remote LSAT
The LSAC put the LSAT-Flex into place in 2020 to provide a safe way for test-takers to take the LSAT at home. Because the COVID-19 pandemic still makes public gatherings unsafe, they have decided to continue using the remote LSAT format LSAT through June 2022.
During this period, the LSAT will be a remotely proctored, online exam.
The test dates for the June LSAT will be in the week of June 11, 2022. Check back closer to this date for more specific scheduling details as LSAC releases them!
June 2022 Remote LSAT Dates and Deadlines
The June LSAT is a great opportunity to take the exam if you’re applying for the 2023 admission cycle. (It won’t work for Fall 2022 admissions in the vast majority of cases–classes start in three months.) It’s early enough in the application process that you can retest if needed. On the other hand, if you get the score you want on the first try, then you’ll have lots of time to get the rest of your application ready without the LSAT weighing on your mind.
Primary June LSAT Dates
The main June remote LSAT administrations are the week of June 11, 2022. As we mentioned above, LSAC hasn’t yet released exact dates for the exam, but check back–we’ll keep updating as more information becomes available!
June Remote LSAT Assistance Request Deadline

If you’re among those who may have trouble getting ahold of anything necessary to take the exam–the computer hardware (a laptop or desktop computer with camera and microphone—LSAC uses audio and video feeds to proctor the exam), an internet connection, or a quiet place to take the remote LSAT—you can request assistance from LSAC.
LSAC’s assisted thousands of students with loaner devices, internet access, and appropriate places to test during the remote LSAT. However, because of these specific technical requirements, it’s key to make arrangements early.
Registration Deadlines for June 2022 LSAT
- Wednesday, April 27, 2022 – Regular registration and accommodation request deadline for those with disabilities or circumstances requiring accommodation needs
There are limited slots for each testing time. Registering early will help you to get the testing date and time that works best for your schedule.
June LSAT Cancellation Deadlines
If you have to change your LSAT test date or time, go to your online LSAC account. There, you’ll be able to can cancel your registration or even withdraw your registration if necessary.
- Wednesday, April 27, 2022 – Deadline to change your test date or cancel your registration without paying a fee
- Saturday, May 7, 2022 – Late test date change or registration cancellation deadline; $125 fee
LSAT Score Preview Deadlines
This past year, LSAC has begun to offer an optional Score Preview option. If you’re taking the exam for the first time, this service lets you view your LSAT score. That way, you can decide if you want to keep it on your LSAC transcript (and eventually let law schools see it).
The price for this service varies depending on when you sign up for it:
- Friday, June 10, 2022 – Deadline to purchase LSAC’s Score Preview for $45
- Wednesday, June 22, 2022 – Deadline to purchase LSAC’s Score Preview for $75
*If you are a first-time test taker with an approved LSAT fee waiver, you can sign up for Score Preview free of charge.
June 2022 LSAT Score Release Date
LSAC hasn’t yet published the date for June 2022 LSAT score releases. More info will be posted just as soon as they release it!
In the meantime: create an online account with LSAC. This account will let you view your scores and send them to law schools about two weeks after your exam.
LSAT Score Release and the LSAT Writing Sample
To get your LSAT scores, you’ll need to sign up for an LSAC account; you’ll also need to complete LSAT writing. This completed writing sample is a relatively new condition for score release. Because of this, LSAC is opening the Writing section option eight days before each test’s administration.
If you’re still focusing on prepping for the multiple-choice portion of the test up until the exam date, you can also take the Writing section after taking the LSAT. Nevertheless, you’ll need to complete it before you receive your scores.
