That’s good news for a lot of students out there, as this trend is occurring at every law school in the country, except for maybe Yale or Harvard.

Where does your LSAT fit in?

As with just about every other law school out there, Tulane Law School puts the most emphasis on LSAT scores. Undergraduate GPA is next on their list. If you can get over a 159 on the LSAT, you’ll be sitting pretty, assuming you have a competitive GPA.

However, the lower your LSAT scores, the higher your GPA will need to be, and the more powerful your personal statement and work experience must appear.

If you score in the 152 to 158 range, you will merit serious consideration. You need to make your application stand out, though, to get in.

To do that, you’ll need to have a good GPA, and you’ll also want to tell them a story in your personal statement. You need to let the law school know who you are–let your personality shine through, and show you’ve come a long way, and that you know how to handle tough times.
