Specifically, you&#8217;ll learn:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What to do and what not to do for the introduction to Task 2<\/li>\n<li>Opening\/paraphrasing vocabulary terms<\/li>\n<li>Vocabulary words for stating an opinion<\/li>\n<li>Overview words and phrases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Do&#8217;s and Don&#8217;ts of Writing the IELTS Task 2 Introduction<\/h2>\n<p><strong>DO:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write at least 60 words in your introduction<\/li>\n<li>Be as specific as possible<\/li>\n<li>Plan before you write<\/li>\n<li>Paraphrase the topic<\/li>\n<li>Clearly state your opinion in a thesis statement<\/li>\n<li>Give an overview of the essay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DON&#8217;T:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write too much\u2014you need to save time and energy for the body paragraphs!
