So what do these scores mean for you<\/em>? <\/p>\n

Well, here at Magoosh, we recommend setting your SAT goal score<\/a> at the 75% percentile mark. This ensures that you are well above average<\/em> in the pool of applicants you will be competing with, but that your not pressuring yourself to get a perfect 1600 when you really don’t need one. Not that there’s anything wrong with aiming high, but the time it would take you to get from the 75th percentile to, say, the 99th, would almost certainly be better spend bolstering other parts of your application. <\/p>\n

So…what should your UC Irvine SAT goal scores be? According to the chart, your best bet is to aim for a 740 in Math, a 670 in EBRW, and an 18 on your Essay*.<\/strong> We recommend taking the SAT as many times as necessary to get there.<\/p>\n
