If you start second semester off on the right foot, you’ll be setting yourself up for success in the coming months. Even though it may not seem like it, the first few weeks of the semester are very important. So put in your best effort!
Take organized notes
Figure out an organized note-taking system now. Commit to it for the rest of the semester. When the final comes around, you’ll be able to easily find all of the information you need.
Get sleep while you still can
The beginning of the semester is usually the easiest. Take advantage of this! Get some rest while you can, before your work starts piling up.
Make good relationships with teachers
Meet with your teachers so they know who you are. Get comfortable with them so you can easily ask them important questions later in the semester. If you make friends with your teachers, it can lead to valuable networking opportunities later on.
Keep an open mind
It’s a new year and a new semester. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Accept that some of your first semester habits were wrong. Meet new people. Join new clubs. Venture outside of your comfort zone.
