Awesome Summer Tutor Positions with OneClass

Hey Magooshland, here’s an exciting job post by our friends at OneClass:

Summer is here! The sun is out, the patios are bustling, and your schedule is finally clear. But there is one small problem: you’ve spent all your money during the school year!

Here’s the reality: the majority of students face the hardship of saving enough money for tuition, let alone having enough of it for leisure activities. Thus, the scramble for a summer job begins.

Nowadays, the standard for student jobs are almost non-existent. The search for jobs has become so competitive that students are readily taking positions in any job they can get. Noteworthy examples of precarious work are: door to door sales, manual labour positions and street/mall canvassing. These positions usually offer inconsistent pay, inconsistent hours, little stability and most importantly a less than fulfilling experience.

And this is why OneClass is offering you an exciting opportunity for students looking to make extra income and also help out hundreds of other incoming students.

We are looking for current students or recent graduates who have a strong grasp of either: 1st year Economics or Calculus to be Course Experts. This position allows for a flexible schedule (~5-10 hours a week) where you take control of creating tutorial style videos for first year students. You will be compensated for creating videos for your course of choice. You will also earn additional compensation throughout the year based on the number of students that sign up for your videos. We also provide you with all the necessary tools and materials to get the word out and promote your video tutorials! Unlike other jobs, we allow you to be as creative as you’d like while also making enough money to cover your tuition for the next semester.

Sounds like a pretty awesome opportunity!
