It is long enough to work through every high-value topic on the Enhanced ACT and fix what your practice tests reveal, and short enough that you will not lose steam. Plan on about an hour a day, five days a week, plus a practice test every other weekend.

How the eight weeks work

Kickoff weekend: ACT Test 1 as a diagnostic.

Days 1 to 4 each week: assigned lessons, quizzes, and practice sets, about 55 to 70 minutes a day with a time listed for every item.

Day 5 is Your Pick: review your latest test, run custom practice, and work through a module you choose.

Five full practice tests: the diagnostic plus tests after Weeks 2, 4, 6, and 7, each reviewed the following Monday. The in-between weekends offer an optional extra test or a catch-up weekend.

A strong finish: Week 8 targets the three topics still costing you points, then ends with a rest day.

Science and Writing: optional tracks every week, timed separately. Science covers every lesson and quiz in the course; Writing covers every lesson plus three practice essays.

What you will cover

Every Most common and Common topic on the Enhanced ACT: in English, writer’s goal, sentence structure, punctuation, organization, word choice, and grammar; in Math, word problems, percents and ratios, algebra and systems, lines and coordinate geometry, quadratics, functions, exponents and roots, geometry, trigonometry basics, statistics, and probability; in Reading, every question type plus the passage-type lessons. Two Desmos sessions are included for students testing online.

Before you start

You will need a Magoosh ACT Premium account and a notebook for your weak-spot list.
