Second Semester Senior Survival Kit

Second semester senior year isn’t as easy and fun as you would think. At this point, I’m done with high school. I want to get out of here! But unfortunately, we still have a few more months left. Although it may seem like an eternity, I know that I can make it to the end with the help of the following items:

Nowadays, I could always go for a good nap. But I don’t get many because I’m always in school. So if I can’t literally be sleeping, wearing clothes that feel like pajamas is the next best thing.

Playlist of pump up songs

“Does any of this really matter?”

“How are we not done already?”

“Do I really have three tests in the next two weeks?”

Sometimes when thoughts like this fill my head, I just need to listen to the motivational words of others. It’s hard to feel like giving up when Beyoncé is telling me that I’m flawless.

Staying organized is the first step to staying motivated. When you know exactly what you have to get done, it seems way less overwhelming and you’re more likely to do it. All of that work is no longer a jumble of stressful nonsense.

We all deserve a reward and this semester is our chance to take it. But make sure the freshman 15 doesn’t happen a few months too early…
