Finally, these five practice questions cover the range of concepts you can expect to see. So if you answered an easier question incorrectly, it is not that you are necessarily at the 150 mark. Perhaps you are struggling with a certain area. No worries – click above each question to access even more practice problems dealing with a certain concept. Good luck!

Takeaway
With any practice problems the key is trying to figure out why you answered the questions incorrectly. At first this process can be frustrating. But remember, by forcing yourself to figure out the answer, instead of turning to an explanation, you will understand the problem at a deeper level and so be less likely to miss a similar problem in the future.
If you are still unsure about the answers to the problems above, let me know and I will provide an explanation. yeah , priya demanded right thing i think! we need at least a brief explanation.
We’ll have the explanations up next week, so keep an eye out for a new follow-up post coming soon!
It would be great if we can get explanation for all of the question ans.
1. in place of x put all the values||x-2|-2|
for x= 5
||-5-2|-2|=|7-2|=5
similarly for x=9
||9-2|-2|=|7-2|=5
2.
Consider if – a=2^1/3, and let b=2^1/3 for case a=b
(a^2)*(b)=2
but none of the option except (E) is suitable.
hope this would suffice
3. prime no. are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17…..
2*3*5=30
2*3*7=42
2*3*11=66
2*3*13=78
2*3*17=greater then 100
2*5*7=70
2*5*11=greater than 100
ans=5
4. couldn’t understand the question
5.
let length of square = ‘L’
therefore area of square=L^2
and from question L^2=X———–1
let ‘w’ be the width of path
{bit of analyzing is required} area of path = 4(L+w)(w)=X ———–2
solve the two equ.
(a^2)*(b)=2
but none of the option except (E) is suitable.
hope this would suffice .
Great job, Ahmad!
I’ll post a longer explanation soon!
