GRE Scoring Scale

Official score reports for the New GRE won’t be released until November 2011. And we’ll be on top of it when they are.

In the meantime, test takers do get an estimated score range based upon the old point scale. No matter what the point scale may be, it’s your percentile ranking that matters the most.

So for those taking the GRE now, we wanted to make sure that you have the latest GRE scoring scale from ETS:

GRE Scoring Table

According to the ETS, this data based upon the performance of all examinees who tested between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2009. That’s almost one a half million test takers in all!
