In how many ways can 16 different gifts be divided among four children such that each child receives exactly four gifts?

A. 16^4

B. (4!)^4

C. (16!)/(4!)^4

D. (16!)/(4!)

E. 4^16

The answer is C. (16!)/(4!)^4

    According to me, the answer should be 4* 16!/ (4!) to the power 4.
    this is coz finally there are 4 kids among whom the chosen gifts can be distributed. M nt
    sure however.

      I guessed it like 4! * 16! / (4!)^4 = 16! / (4!) ^ 3

      This will be the case if one among 4 children are to be chosen to give gifts.

        Yes I too fell permutation need to be applied
