I’m chugging along on the math review section for Barron’s–and I’m pretty excited!
Current Practice Results
- Section L, Circles: 17/20
- Section M, Solid Geometry: 14/15
Since a lot of my scores on the math review sections have been much worse than this, I think it’s safe to say that I’m getting better. For one thing, I now know that my strength lies in geometry. I find it so much easier than, say, work rate problems. Oh, but note to self: I need to make flashcards on all these formulas pretty quickly. I may be getting a little flashcard-happy but I’d be loathe to forget how to take the volume of a cylinder again…
And though I haven’t even taken a cumulative practice session yet, I think I can finally say I’m getting used to tackling math again. Yup, my friends were right–it’s really a matter of getting used to seeing these problems… and then practicing them over and over again.
Tomorrow my school schedule’s looking pretty light. Lots of GRE studying time. Yay! (Really, yay!)

Usually I don’t put up on blogs, but I need to say that this write-up incredibly pressured me to accomplish so! Thanks, extremely nice article
