You’ll be spending tons of money, time and energy to earn this degree, so you have to ask the question: is it all worth it? Check out this answer from UNC’s Kenan-Flager Business School, as told by an infographic!
An MBA degree can open many doors for you professionally, personally and financially. An MBA can increase your salary by up to 81 percent, and the job potential for those with an MBA is bright, with a forecasted 16 percent increase in hiring rates for 2014.
If you are unsure about whether you would be able to afford an MBA program, focus on the return on investment. Graduates reported recouping one third of their investment in a year, and one hundred percent of their investment four years after graduation. If you are still concerned about the cost of a full time program, you may want to consider an online MBA program, which can give you the flexibility to keep working at your current job, while offering you comparable post-graduate benefits. Take a look at the infographic MBA@UNC created that demonstrates the ROI of an MBA.
