GMAT Lesson Quizzes from Magoosh

We have some exciting news for students of our GMAT product! Based on feedback we’ve received, we’re including quizzes for each appropriate lesson group.

As an example, you’ll have the opportunity to take a quick 5-question quiz after you finish watching the lesson videos on Percents and Ratios. You will see a green check appear next to the quiz if you answer 3 or more questions correctly– this means you’ve passed the lesson quiz! Don’t worry if you don’t pass the quiz on the first try because you can take it again with different questions until you pass.

Why did we do this?
In the past, students could view lesson videos and then create a custom practice session related to the videos they just watched; this wasn’t ideal. We’ve received feedback from our students that this would be a useful feature for them and we also thought this would be a better experience.

We also decided to have questions after a lesson group instead of an individual lesson because the GMAT rarely tests just one specific subject; usually it’s a broad application of that concept blended with others, so having quizzes per section is a more realistic way of testing concepts.

I’d love to hear what you think, feel free to leave a comment below!

Just to confirm – The questions that we would see in the quiz are being pulled up from the practice GMAT questions available to a student under his/her account, right ?

or will these be altogether different GMAT questions ?

    Thank you,

Hi Rahul– yes, that’s correct. The GMAT lesson quiz questions come from the same question pool.

      Happy studying!
