GMAC is releasing an updated version of GMATPrep in “early April”– and yes, it’s going to be accessible on Macs! Below are some of my thoughts based on the slides they’ve released:
I love the easy to understand user interface. Everything is clearly laid out.
GMAC is right: it is always a good idea to book your testing date as soon in advance as possible. You should get a time slot that is good for you, and you will also light a little fire underneath you to get you prepping.
Speaking of which, the advice to study at least twice a week is very optimistic. You definitely want to be studying more often than that, if you want to do your best.
Hey this looks a whole lot like Magoosh! You definitely know that GMAC is on the right track! Practicing with the different question types is very straightforward (though Magoosh is far more granular within a section, e.g. offering geometry, etc.).
An easy to understand breakdown of your performance makes improvement easier. Indeed, the interface is so inviting that even makes the nebulous Integrated Reasoning section seem far less daunting.
Learn strategies from GMAC themselves. Of course make sure to supplement these strategies with the effective ones you’ve already learned. Sometimes the writers of test do not have the best tips.
