GMAT Prep iPhone App

Remember when we announced the release of our GMAT Android app? We mentioned that we hoped to have our iPhone app done soon as well, and while it took a bit longer than expected, it’s now ready for download onto your iPhone or iPad!

The app is pretty simple– just video lessons, no practice questions. You can always use the web browser if you want to practice on your phone. We’ve had great feedback so far and look forward to hearing more from all of you!

How can I sign up?

It’s free to download. If you already have a Magoosh Premium account, you can sign in by entering your Magoosh account information and clicking “Sign In”, and you’ll have full access to all of the videos. We’ve heard from some students that passwords with special characters may not work, in which case I recommend changing your password. If you happen to not have a Premium Magoosh account yet, I would definitely recommend getting one now :).

But even if you don’t have an account, you can still download the app and create a trial account by entering an email and password and clicking “Create Account”. You’ll get access to a sample of the video lessons. To get full access to all of the videos, you’ll need to buy a Premium account.

How does the iPhone app work?

After you sign in, you’ll see a list of Quant video lessons. You can switch to Verbal or Integrated Reasoning lessons by using the tabs at the bottom. Overall, we have more than 20 hours of video! And if you watch a video on the iPhone app, we’ll mark it as watched on your regular Magoosh account, or if you “finish” a video, we’ll mark it as finished in the web version too – all your information is fully synchronized, from phone to app and vice versa!

You can watch any video by tapping on it. I recommend using wi-fi if you can, since it will be faster, but 3G will also work.

Click here to see the app in the App store, and let us know what you think!

This is exactly what i was looking. Although the videos were watchable via the Mobile Safari browser on iPhone, it’s always good to have a Native Client Interface! Nice Addition.

    Thanks.
