Tweet Your Way Into The Ivies (And Get Free Tuition)

The questions “Why business school?” and “Why here” (or variants thereof) are standard across MBA applications. But, each business school typically has at least one unique offering that reflects the program’s culture (and prevents wholesale cut and paste jobs).

One of the most intriguing MBA application question additions this year is Columbia’s question “What is your post-MBA professional goal.” With a maximum of 200 charaters, it will certainly favor the Tweeting veterans. Not to be outdone, Iowa’s Tippie School of Management offered a full scholarship for the best tweet. The winner: a haiku submitted by John Yates: “Globally minded; Innovative and driven; Tippie can sharpen.”

So, now you’ve got a great excuse to tweet away while applying to business school!
